An invariance principle for nonlinear switched systems
In this paper we address the problem of extending La Salle Invariance Principle to switched system. We prove an extension of the invariance principle relative to dwell-time switched solutions, and a second one relative to constrained switched systems.
متن کاملNonlinear observability and an invariance principle for switched systems
This paper proposes several definitions of observability for nonlinear systems and explores relationships between them. These observability properties involve the existence of a bound on the norm of the state in terms of the norm of the output on a small time interval. As an application, we prove a LaSalle-like stability theorem for switched nonlinear systems.
متن کاملInvariance Conditions for Nonlinear Dynamical Systems
Recently, Horváth, Song, and Terlaky [A novel unified approach to invariance condition of dynamical system, submitted to Applied Mathematics and Computation] proposed a novel unified approach to study, i.e., invariance conditions, sufficient and necessary conditions, under which some convex sets are invariant sets for linear dynamical systems. In this paper, by utilizing analogous methodology, ...
متن کاملOn the Maximum Principle for Impulsive Hybrid Systems
In this contribution, we consider a class of hybrid systems with continuous dynamics and jumps in the continuous state (impulsive hybrid systems). By using a newly elaborated version of the Pontryagintype Maximum Principle (MP) for optimal control processes governed by hybrid dynamics with autonomous location transitions, we extend the necessary optimality conditions to a class of Impulsive Hyb...
متن کاملExtensions of LaSalle’s Invariance Principle for Switched Nonlinear Systems ⋆
In this paper the extension of LaSalle’s Invariance Principle for switched nonlinear systems is studied. Unlike most existing results in which each switching mode in the system needs to be asymptotically stable, in this paper we allow the switching modes to be only stable. Under certain ergodicity assumptions of the switching signals, two extensions of LaSalle’s Invariance Principle for global ...
